New ICB chairman appointed

Dhaka University teacher Prof S M Mahfuzur Rahman has been appointed the chairman of Investment Corporation of Bangladesh (ICB), reports Bdnews24.com.

He was appointed for three years, according to an order issued on Wednesday and published by the Banks and Financial Institutions Division on Thursday.

Previous chief of ICB M Khairul Hossain was appointed the chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission on May 15.
