Premier Leasing and Finance Limited has completed acquisition of 51 per cent shares of Securities Broking And Management Services Ltd., a member company of DSE which number is 136.
In this connection, a shares handing over ceremony was organised in the city recently, said a press release.
Earlier, the company signed an agreement with respective shareholders of Securities Broking to acquire their shares and the board of directors at its meeting approved the said transfer of shares.
Former chairman of Securities Broking Ltd. Saiful Islam Choudhury and directors Afroza Islam Choudhury, Sharmin Islam Choudhury, Abdul Quiaem Khan and Shuja Uddin Ahmed handed over their respective shares to Chairman of Premier Leasing Engr. AZM Akramul Haq.
Among others, Chairman of Audit Committee of Premier Leasing Md Nasiruddin Choudhury, Managing Director SM Shamsul Alam, Company Secretary Subash Chandra Moulick and Acting CFO Md Ali Reza and Managing Director of Securities Broking Shuja Uddin Ahmed were present on the occasion
