Twelve listed companies have failed to submit their yearly audited financial statements by the deadline fixed on November 14, DSE officials said.
The companies which have failed to submit their reports are Beacon Pharma, Bangladesh Shipping Corporation (BSC), Delta Spinners, Desh Garments, Eastern Cables, Eastern Lubricants, Jamuna Oil, Kohinoor Chemicals, Meghna Petroleum, Padma Oil, Sonali Aansh and United Airways.
The officials said a total of 63 companies were supposed to submit their yearly audited reports by November 14. But 51 companies submitted their reports by the deadline.
However, as per DSE listing rules the companies, which have failed to submit their reports, will have to pay a penalty of Tk 500 every day until they submit their yearly audited reports.
